SGNA Membership Grants

The Following Grants are Available:

GOAL: TO PROMOTE NEW SGNA MEMBERSHIP  

  • Grant is in the form of a one year SGNA membership.  It is awarded in the form of fee reimbursement.

    • RN membership

    • Associate (tech) membership 

  • memberships will be awarded on a case by case basis, application reviewed by the board.

 

ELIGIBILTY CRITERA:

  • Currently employed as Nurse or SURG TECH/HCT in a Gastroenterology unit, with a minimum of one year experience.

  • Consistently demonstrates commitment to high standards and competence in field.

  • Demonstrates care and compassion toward direct needs of patient.

  • Demonstrates clinical competence and leadership by serving as a preceptor, mentor, and role model for peers.

  • Actively participates in programs, research, committees and/or projects, and maintains current knowledge of revisions and advancements in GI practice.

  • Letter of recommendation from one or more of the following from current employment: Nurse Supervisor, Manager, APP, Provider
